Thoughts and prayers needed for a sick BEAR...

Everyone who knows him:

Marc (aka bootglove) is currently at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn in intensive care.  I just spoke to his mother, and she said that while the fever has gone down, he's still in ICU being monitored.

I will post updates as I get them. 

UPDATE: 10:48 AM 8/6/08:

I talked to Marc's mom, she said that he's still in ICU and will be there all day.  He's on an IV now.  She said that visitors are allowed, and the hospital's number is (708) 783-9100.  She's taking him his cell phone and some other things, but right now she doesn't know whether he'll be allowed to use it in the hospital building.  She also said he does not have a phone in his room.

I will be going to see him this evening after work and will post again after I get home.

BEARWatch... Day 2

Marc bootglove is doing better.  I took off early from work and went down to Berwyn o see him.  So far he's doing much better than he was, though he's still in ICU and will be there another night.

He doesn't have a phone in his room and he can't use his cell up in ICU.  I think when he gets transferred to another room he'll have his laptop.
