Answer time

bootglove asks: "Would you change careers since you have many college degrees? If so, what would you do?"

To be honest that's a good question.  I've been guilty of the "coulda woulda shoulda" syndrome a lot over time, especially when I've had a bad time or a bad day.  Right now I'm more or less happy where I am, but I've been keeping my eye out for opportunities to advance.  I wouldn't be hostile to going out of LIS if the opportunity were right, but I want to make sure that if I change careers that I do it for the right reasons.  It's not unprecedented in my family; Grandpa went from rodbuster to general contractor, and Dad went from structural and ornamental ironwork to nursing.
