OK, does caring about this make me a nerd?

Now, what does it say about me when I find weather reports amusing? Over time I've taken an interest in various little things--weather, roadsigns, and the like. So... is it that bad that I find these amusing?

From something involving Hurricane Vince:

"IF IT LOOKS LIKE A HURRICANE... IT PROBABLY IS... DESPITE ITS
ENVIRONMENT AND UNUSUAL LOCATION."

(Vince ended up hitting Iberia.)

And from Zeta, the last one:

" SO... UNTIL THE 2006
SEASON BEGINS... UNLESS ZETA SOMEHOW MAKES AN UNLIKELY MIRACLE
COMEBACK... THIS IS THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER SIGNING OFF FOR
2005... FINALLY."
