My letter to amazon.com

To amazon.com:
I discovered this evening much to my chagrin Amazon.com's new policy regarding GLBT-related literature, and how it has been recategorized en masse to "adult material" status. This new policy is without saying one of the most bigoted and unprofessional actions that a company such as yours can take (to alienate a single group because of perceptions.)
I am a public librarian. Because of this change of policy, I will no longer give amazon.com my personal business for book purchases, and I will discourage my friends and colleagues as well as my library patrons from using amazon.com's resources to purchase material.
I hope that this short-sighted and malicious policy is rescinded quickly.
Sincerely,
Michael Cienfuegos, MLS
